I am finally home after a 12+ hr day of filming out in the bushes, like actually middle of no where in some mountain with reaaaally old trees covered in moss around us. It was kind of scary having no cell phone reception at all (the head stylist was freaking out each time her cell phone bar dropped).
After days of sourcing, picking, fittings it was satisfying to have all the actors in their costumes. Although it was pouring alllll daaay fucking long I was just happy to be there on my first short film set. Previously I have been on TV shows, print-work, and commercials so I'm stoked to have this now under my belt even though this was a very small production.
I'm hoping to pick up more gigs before I have to go back out East to Toronto!
