I'm sorry. I've been a bad blogger. I don't think I have ever updated these photos on here. They are from the LG Fashion Week from this year. I just remembered that I never posted them up and I wanted to before the new year. My friend Inga who works in advertising hooked me up with an Industry pass (woot!).

This blog, which I meant to update quite frequently on a daily basis has turned into whenever-I-can routine. I visited dutil this morning and their jean sale was unreal! There were some great deals but my weight has been fluctuating ok fine. I've been gaining weight since I moved back out East to Toronto since May and hasn't gone down since. I thought that my break in Vancouver this holiday was going to do me good but I've been feasting on my mom's homemade food so that sure hasn't been helping. So yeah, I couldn't find a one single pair for me to take home. But I was only there for 20 minutes and then I had to run to my work (oh yeah, got a temp job). I did find these two pairs that were nice so I hope to go back there tomorrow morning to see if they have them in my size - whatever my size is at now... yikes.

Holiday is Near and there's Sales Everywhere!

What makes it difficult for me to wait until Boxing day/ week here in Canada that there are so many sales going on this holiday season, even before Christmas! If retailers are putting out the sales now, I wonder what if would be like during the first week of January...

I've been so crazy with school I haven't been able to blog at all. I meant to decorate my page and everything but school really chained me to the ground with art making. I'm pretty proud of the work that I have produced so far this semester though. I reflected back at the work that I produced in second year and I thought "what a waste of time, money, grade, space". Trying to juggle three jobs and full-time school was definitely not working out for me. Anyway I just got off school for a nice little winter break so perhaps I will be able to do all the things that I wanted to do on here. But before that I am going to make some adjustments in my wardrobe! My closet really shows that I haven't been able to go shopping at all. I started to browse here and there but I'm really excited for this up and coming one. Dace is hosting a sample sale at their warehouse with other companies like Lily&Jae and Larry. I can't wait to go there. The last sample/ warehouse sale I was at was Anna Kosturova's and I got like three sets of beautifully crocheted bikinis! She even helped me pick out a top (unfortunately my boobs were too small for the one she picked). Anyway wow, I can't believe I haven't been to a sample sale since the end of summer. Laaaaaaameeee.

Portland // Style

During the Easter weekend I decided to take a train down from Vancouver B.C to Portland Or and I honestly think it was one of the best decision I have made this year so far. Not only it is nice to get away but traveling alone was actually quite a pleasure. I didn't have to match up to anyone else's schedule, I got to do whatever I wanted in my own pace. I did a whole load of wondering around the city which was actually quite easy to do. Portland is divided by the Willamette River and goes by NW, NE, SW, SE. I stayed around NW (somewhat near Pearl district) where there were tons of cute restaurants and it's less touristy there. One of the day I spent half of my day in the Hawthorn district (SE) but I wish I spent a whole day there because there was just so much to see (people, places to eat and shop, houses, etc..) During my walk I captured some of the outfits that the Portlanders were sporting.

Got My BOOTS!

YES! I finally got my boots in mail today. Well actually I could have gotten it yesterday but the mailman happen to drop by my house while I was out in the backyard with my dogs so I had no idea my doorbell was ringing.
So I made my way over to the nearest post office and picked them up and whoa. I am so happy with them. I don't know why I didn't just buy it when I was in Portland but instead I waited until I got back up North to Vancouver BC and had to track them down online, and order it from a store all the way in Chicago! So I'm naming them Portland-Chicago boots.

And today I made up a quote that's related to shoes.

"Maybe if I click the heels of these shoes together and say 'I want to go home with these shoes. I want to go home with these shoes' maybe we will go home together like the ending of wizard of oz."

I don't know what it is about Tilda but I am so captivated by her. And quite frankly and embarrassingly, I didn't know Tilda Swinton until I watched the Chronicles of Narnia with my little sister. She just has that face... and it's not that she is ugly but she's not your Gisel Budchen either but she perspire this edge-y, effortlessly coolness that I can't deny the fact that I am completely attracted to her style. Some of the other girls who would fit under that category would be like Erin O'Connor as another example. But anyway back to Tilda Swinton, the hair cuts that she sports against her porcelain skin; the type of outfits that she wears on the red carpet...

I am always looking forward to see her photos on the web when I come by them.

I have been working so much lately and having to get up at 5am in the morning doesn't help. Last night was the Earth Hour which I participated. I thought while the lights are off I can take a cat-nap which turned into a 13 hour "nap". And I had the most craziest dream. I was in a tsunami saving people in this castle, then I was climbing a glacier mountain and I discovered a broken purse in a bush, then I locked lips with a super hero and bunch of other stuff happened which I don't remember now.

Anyway! Now that I'm awake I started my morning catching up on my e-mails and blogs (while mom brought me breakfast in bed - thanks mom!). Now I'm online window-shopping and I thought I'd post all my wishlist here:

Vancouver // my current life

I am finally home after a 12+ hr day of filming out in the bushes, like actually middle of no where in some mountain with reaaaally old trees covered in moss around us. It was kind of scary having no cell phone reception at all (the head stylist was freaking out each time her cell phone bar dropped).

After days of sourcing, picking, fittings it was satisfying to have all the actors in their costumes. Although it was pouring alllll daaay fucking long I was just happy to be there on my first short film set. Previously I have been on TV shows, print-work, and commercials so I'm stoked to have this now under my belt even though this was a very small production.

I'm hoping to pick up more gigs before I have to go back out East to Toronto!

Front & Company is one of my favorite consignment stores in Vancouver. They have new items as well but their consignment stuff is the best for the age group 15~34 y/o.

Ever wondered about the financial side of fashion? It seems rather complex. I just read a post from fashionologie about how Tommy Hilfiger doesn't actually own his collection. He is the "the brand's face and "principal designer". McQueen's fashion house wasn't actually owned by him either; it was owned by the Gucci group.
I just had an epiphany. Fashion is not always easy and pretty. Bummer...

Thought process:

Tommy Hilfiger Sold to Phillips-Van Heusen — Fresh off one of the strongest Tommy Hilfiger collections in recent seasons (which Peter Som consulted on), Calvin Klein owners Phillips-Van Heusen have acquired Hilfiger from British firm Apax Partners for about 2.2 billion euros ($3 billion). The deal marks the first major acquisition in retail circles in years, according to the Wall Street Journal. Tommy Hilfiger has no management role at the company, but remains as the brand's face and "principal designer"; as for Peter Som's continued involvement with the brand, as of the Fall 2010 show, the future of the relationship was uncertain. I am SO excited for the new Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland movie to come out (this Friday! Yippee!). Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors. I think he is just SO brilliant at acting and really there's no need to go on about how amazing he is. I just can't think of anyone else to replace him. I am all for Tim Burton and Johnny Depp collabo.

Alexa Chung's Madewell Collection

When I first heard the news that Alexa Chung (who will not be hosting her own show anymore) was doing a collection for Madewell I was ecstatic about the news. I had this great anticipation for it and that totally fell tonight after my discovery of images of her collection.

One word: "disappointed".

You know, she has been a style muse of mine because she dresses so vintage-y English. I almost portrayed her like a modern day Twiggy capturing the North American's eyes (can I just quickly mention that I think Alexa Chung and Chloe Sevigny made a difference in North American's style? People were all about buying new things and looking modern but with the influence of these girls' taste for vintage and mixing n' matching, fashionistas are caring to recycle/ upcycle. And really, it's not about the environment factor that they are doing it, people have realized mixing vintage with new is cool.)

Anyway back to my main point. I feel like Ms. Chung could have brought more than that. I am almost under the impression that she wants to look the best so she doesn't want to produce all the cool-look give-a-ways. The Madewell collection is too dead simple and really... it's BORING! The stuff that the models are wearing, lot of items like that are already out in the market -- similar things...
I just wish she put more into it than this; what a shame.
I have a feeling Chung is going to start really dying down in North America now...

Fashion World in Mourning of Lee Alexander McQueen's Passing

This week the fashion world is in mourning of Lee Alexander McQueen's recent passing. I sure still am. Last night I wore a red and black plaid dress out to commemorate his death; inspired by his and Sarah Jessica Parker's outfit to the 2006 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala:

Over in New York a charity catwalk show "Fashion for Relief Haiti" organized by model, Naomi Campbell, was hosted at New York Fashion Week. Naomi Campbell was a close friend of McQueen which she incorporated some of his creations in the show.

If you do drop by my blog sometimes I apologize for being so distant for the past couple days... weeks? I have been extremely busy with my new job and on top of that I have been dipping my toes in lots of new projects that I'm barely handling.

I'm just realizing this now but I seem to have this immediate reaction of signing on to my blog when someone I like dies within the fashion world. I guess it's just become a way for me to grieve?

I hate and don't want to believe this but British Fashion Designer Lee Alexander McQueen (40) was found dead today February 11th, 2010, with an apparent suicide.

I am devastated by this news. McQueen was someone who I looked up to greatly for inspirations. I frequently had hopeful dreams that one day I would intern for him (his fashion house) and I guess that will never happen now.

I'm not sure what the future will hold for his fashion house... the company will be not the same without the mastermind.

The death of McQueen is a real tragedy but we must give McQueen our farewells and honor him for his unique visionary, creativity and integrity in the world of fashion and art.

Keller NY Lookbook Spring 2010

Lately I have developed this fascination for lookbook videos (plus watching old fashion houses' perfume ads). I LOVE them. It makes me want to continue studying Media Art (did in 2005). Now at my current university I would have to minor in Integrated Media.

Anyway tonight I was asked by Eva of Tomorrow Never Knows to vote for her online vintage shop on this website called Poppytalk. I voted for her than began to explore some of the websites provided on that page (candidates for different categories). I came across this New York based clothing line called Keller.

I watched their lookbook video for Spring 2010 and I am not as in love with the D A C E video I posted few weeks ago but I still think this video is witty and whimsical. Some parts are a little odd but good odd. It's not the best editing job I have seen but it works.

I'm a sucker for balloons and rooftops...

Okay I was going to go to bed after that last post but I just had to quickly check the Satorialist before I'm off to the dream world (couldn't wait till tomorrow morning) and TA DAAA:

Those sweet cupcake icing colored shoes just pops with all the black around it doesn't it? It's such a wonderful surprise in the composition. The turquoise scarf the lady is wearing on the right really fights it but my eyes are drawn to the light pink shoes with the bow. Just precious.

P.S: I love the wide legged black pants of the left as well.

Peek a Boo

Last week I moved to a new house and I'm so happy to live in a place again with a view! This time I have a beautiful view of downtown Vancouver and the Lions Gate Bridge (I will post pictures of the view when I can). By moving to a new place I really feel like I can start fresh; And 2010 just got better because I got a new job which was confirmed on Sunday. On Saturday I was on set for a photo shoot for a local Vancouver magazine. I got contacted by the producer for Vancouver Fashion Week for the Spring show. And yesterday I got the internet hooked up and I feel relieved. Yes, I must mention this because I realized how much I have become dependent on the web for a large portion of my life. Anyway I've been on the computer for too long tonight because I was trying to catch up on my e-mails, facebook, and blogs/ newsletters that I follow/ sub-scripted to. Few minutes ago I quickly dropped by Jak & Jil and found a picture of these peep toe black booties by Gucci:

Aren't they beautiful? I wish I had long skinny legs to pull them off.

There are some fashion conscious girls around Vancouver who own these 7" black ankle boots but lot of them have bad legs so it doesn't look as good (*if you want to read more about fashion faux pas, click here). I have been wanting a pair of peep toe booties for so long now but I just know I don't have the legs for it :<

So what do you do in this case?
Part of me think 'Life is Too Short. Go Get'em'.
Other part of me think 'Why bother investing in something that doesn't work for you'.

Later on on Saturday evening I was rushing to Holt Renfrew to do the returns than I ran into these whimsical but bold black suede wedges by Dolce & Gabbana. It had a poodle brooch on the center part which was so cute. Usually when I think of 7" tall black wedges or ankle boots I think of edgy, Gothic inspired look. By having the poodles on their made it less Gothic-y but rather surreal should I say? I wanted them so bad so I decided to give it a go by trying them on.

My right foot couldn't fit into them even though they were 7.5s. Sadly, I picked them up the floor and put them back on the shelf for somebody else to hitch them up. Whoever that person will be, I am already envious of them.

Toronto // preloved's annual sample & warehouse sale

Preloved's annual warehouse sale is happening at their headquarters located at 24 Ryerson Ave. This is a four day event that I recommend you to go on the first day and the last day. First day you can go and select couple of items and then come out (like last year I assume it will be crowded) and then on the last day go there for the items that are drastically reduced (that sweater that you were looking at, if it's meant to be, it might still be there for half the cost of what it was priced for).

This event starts on Thursday January 27th till the 30th.
Hours are 12pm to 7pm.

I don't know why but I love an event where they have multiple designers, they are given a material to work with and they are challenged to come up with different pieces at the end and showcase it to the public. Like the Canadian label, Cashmere, toilet paper company did a White Cashmere Couture (if you don't know what I'm talking about click here for the article and some pictures of the pieces).

Tonight I was browsing through the web-world and I found about the Project White T-shirt. A charity event which all proceed went to Designers Against Aids. 31 designers were involved from 13 different countries were challenged to create a unique and interesting with the t-shirts.

Did anyone else notice that this year's Boxing day sale wasn't as good as the other years? You'd think because of the recession all stores would be pricing everything super affordable to consumers but really, it wasn't that good. But who am I to talk seeing I spent most of my day in this one store. Yes, one store.

It's pretty lame how that turned out but I think I got some pretty nice pieces.

I came across this photo below from some blog. I am so bad at crediting my sources. I just like to collect pretty images on to my computer so I never know at the end of the day where they came from. As a child I clipped so many magazine and newspaper articles and photos - which I found some last night and I felt pretty proud of myself to have such archive.

Anyway before I completely side-track I just wanted to show you my new purchase!

I used to work for Preloved and I loved every moment working for them. They are sustainably conscious and Peter is just a great designer who knows how to re-work reclaimed garments and make them into new pieces. The great thing about Preloved is that they don't make stuff to follow the major fashion trends so lot of the pieces are timeless. Every year they have promotions where the customers can come in with some canned food and get certain amount of discount off. For boxing day it's 30%-70% off. Anyway go check them out. This non-perishable promotion will be on until end of January.

I'm up way too early in the morning (4am). Before I put on an episode of Sex and the City on (yes! I got all the seasons now as of yesterday!) I thought I'd swing by and write a quick blog. I meant to write about this yesterday but I ran out of time before I had to run to work.

Regardless, my obsession for Balmain hasn't left me yet. I am just so in love with their Spring 2010 read-to-wear rock n' roll collection.

Here's a quick profile of Balmain (below is copied from Net-a-Porter):

"Pierre Balmain founded his exquisite namesake Parisian fashion house in 1945, dressing the likes of Ava Gardner and Brigitte Bardot. After his death in 1982, a slew of designers took the helm including Oscar de la Renta [1993~2001], and now it's the turn of elegant French designer Christophe Decarnin. This collection makes me want to go on a diet and start a band and live as a rock star. And the looks that Christophe Decarnin designed is completely opposite from what Paris Hilton would ever pull (read my post below).

So I kicked off my day making arrangements and appointments and now I got a chance to sit down and read through blogs, comment about them, write about them in my blog giving my view point about the article and so on.

Today I noticed a post from pinkmafia (Toronto) and local club kids/ stylish duo, Jon and Jenny, had written a commentary regarding some fashion tips for the holidays.

Here is the article.

Bottom line of the story, they are advising people not to dress like a tranny and dress "...well tailored and simplified in a jewel tone".
They also advise this: "remember accessorizing is a privilege and not a right. Try to stick to a couple of key pieces, instead of decorating yourself like a Christmas tree".

Paris Hilton, prime example for generic/ typically dressed .

True say and I agree with what they are saying but sometimes dressing over the top can be fun. Plus we can only do that while we are young. If we do it when we are 63 years old, it's not as fun unless you are Patricia Field or that other fashionable lady from New York.... what is her name? I'm going to have to get back to you on that one.

Anyhow my version of the advice for dressing for the holidays is that you have a choice. We know that majority of the people are going to be dressed in some H&M dress with some Aldo heels -- typical. It is for you to decide whether if you want to dress like a cookie cutter or go out in your own way which, one, could be successful or two, could be horrendous and later down the road you are going to think "What was I thinking".

Personally in life, I think staying inside the box sucks and you are missing out. Sometimes you need to step out of the comfort zone and push your wardrobe boundaries during appropriate times. Life is about trial and error and same with fashion.

Don't just follow the trend. Create your own looks without looking like every other people.

Last advice I'd like to give for the day, DO support the local designers. Make a visit to those small boutique shops that you always wanted to go to. There is no rule in this world that you have to support mass consumed shops only. If your wardrobe is consisted of H&M, Aldo, Guess, Bebe or whatever other major brands only, it is time for you to break that cycle. Go support the local designers now! Some of them may give out "locals discount" and you are more likely to find a piece where there's only 4-8 more copies of it instead of 250,000.

Tom Ford's A Single Man

After a day of running errands and messing around on photoshop I decided to take a break. As I was doing my regular blog-hopping I found this! A film by Tom Ford, A Single Man will be released at the end of this month. I am so excited by all these fashion related movies coming out. It's a definite fresh shift for the movie world.

And I just found out that Coco Avant Chanel is still in theaters here in Vancouver. I am right on track with my goal for this month!

So I did not get a chance to blog this morning sipping on either coffee or juice. I slept in leisurely because I wrote my final exam last night! Starting from this week till the end of this month I'm hoping that my life will be full of parties, shopping, catching up on new cd albums and new movies *ahem! still haven't had a chance to watch CoCo Avant Chanel*...

Anyway I just recently discovered Something a la Mode (SALM) and found out Karl Lagerfeld is a fan himself! (SALM played for the Chanel Cruise Show 2010 in Venice). Not only because Karl likes them too, I am totally hooked on their music and their songs have been on repeat ever since I discovered them.

Tokujin Yoshioka, Japanese designer who is a graduate from Kuwasawa design school in Tokyo is seriously taking visual merchandising to the next level! I actually saw a photo of this earlier this week on Fashionologie and I thought it was okay, nothing crazy... UNTIL I DISCOVERED THE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE! It literally blew my mind.

“On designing a window-display of Maison Hermès, I intended to express…a hidden presence of a person in the movements born naturally in daily life. I created a design where one can perceive someone behind the scarves as if life were being breathed into them. The window is designed with an image of woman projected on to a monitor. The scarf softly sways in the air in response to the woman’s blow.” - T. Yoshioka

So I was just on the phone with my friend Mike and I was giving him a re-cap of this article that I was reading. Sarah Jessica Parker was voted "the unsexiest woman on the planet" by the Maxim readers. He was telling me that "yeah she's not the sexiest but wouldn't call her totally unattractive". So in a sense he too agreed with the Maxim readers and yes, physically, and just based just on her face, she's no giselle bündchen but! I think her presence and the way she act is sexy. First of all, I bet the poor girl does whatever she can to maintain her body slim at the age of 43. And from having that slim body she can wear whatever the heck Patricia Field makes her wear and only she can pull it off! So all you haters out there for Sarah Jessica Parker, you can stick it up your ass. And just so you know Parker earned around £12.5m since the end of the popular TV series and has earned more than her three co-stars combined through advertising deals.

But Parker, 43, has had a hard time dealing with the news that men do not find her as attractive as advertisers do, claiming the result of the Maxim poll was "brutal" and also affected her husband, actor Matthew Broderick.

The American Apparel Rummage Sale in Vancouver was a total bummer. I'm not sure if it was bad because I went there on the second day but what they had was mainly really out dated stuff (so glad there was no line up). I noticed that lot of the tags said "Classic Girl" which I think that was what it used to be called? I'm not too sure what the story is behind that but anyway I remember a friend who got bunch of Classic Girl items when we were like thirteen. Her boyfriend at the time, his sister worked for them at the head office or something and gave her some free stuff. That was like NINE years ago! Anyway not only most of these items were outdated, lot of them either had holes or some stains on it. I was there for about two hours which one of the aa girl found that out and her and this other employee decided to throw in all these freebies at me (you can't go wrong with cotton underwears) and named me the rummage queen (thanks?).

While I was there I got a chance to chit chat with this aa boy who flew into Vancouver to help out and he let me in on the fact that some of the stuff at the Vancouver rummage sale were stuff that Toronto people did not want. So not only we had all this Classic Girl stuff from nine years ago but we also had all the crap from Toronto. I will probably not be attending the Vancouver's American Apparel Rummage Sale ever again.

Coco Chanel on Screen

I keep thinking "What is wrong with me?" I have still yet to see Coco Before Chanel and I don't think it's even out at my local theaters anymore. Although I have seen the Coco Chanel movie starring Shirley MacLaine which I thought was so good. I love the petite Audrey Tatou and cannot help myself but have high expectations for this movie.

And through my little research turns out those two aren't the only recent movies about her. Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky which was directed by Dutch-born Jan Kounen and starring Anna Mouglalis and Mads Mikkelsen, closed the Cannes fest in May.

American Apparel Rummage Sale

What was the line for? This insanely long line up was for Toronto's first American Apparel Rummage Sale. People of Vancouver, are you guys ready for this? I came across this picture on facebook and oh boy, it's going to be one hell of an event. I'm planning on going there right after work on Friday in the afternoon and I'm going to predict now that I'm probably going to have to wait at least an hour? or two? I'm not looking forward to lining up for that long in the cold but rummage sales are too fun to be missed! I'm hoping to purchase tons of stockings and maybe some sweaters.

P.S: The guy who said American Apparel was "high fashion" perhaps you should know the definition of high fashion before you say that on an interview -- Just a thought.

Saturday at the Breakbot Show in Vancouver

Saturday night I decided to go to the Breakbot (Ed Banger) show at Shine in Vancouver. While I was waiting to get in I spotted this girl with the most whimsical shoes! I first saw her just from the back and I loved the shoes with the white coat that she had on. It wouldn't have worked better than this if she was wearing any other colored coat. When I asked her to take a photograph of her I was able to see the rest of the outfit and she had dressed up as a flapper. She was one of the guests at the private party that was happening in the backroom which later I saw her there. Anyway feel free to stare at these shoes because I sure did!

P.S: Pardon the poor image quality! It was taken with my camera phone. Can't wait till X-Mas! I'm buying myself a new DSLR.

I have definitely had my fashion faux pas moments throughout my life (let's face it; you probably too) and even now I still wear things that I know it's not the best fit for me. For example, I can't give up the skinny jeans. My mother tells me I look like I stuffed myself into sausage casings and I know where she's coming from. I do have an abnormally large calf muscles (damn gene from my dad's side!!) but they are just so perfect for tall boots!

Anyway time to time we need to remind ourselves don't try all the trends. Know your body and the styles that fit YOU. Don't do it just because some famous person you like have it. Wear What's Best for You.

Gone Too Soon; RIP model Daul Kim (20)

I haven't had a chance to post anything for awhile but with the recent death of the Korean supermodel Daul Kim, I felt the necessity to post something about her. I guess I am going through some type of mourning as well. Ever since she passed away on November 19th, I can't help myself but look up something about her on the web. It's strange because I have never met her in person but I was quite aware of Daul because she really stood out from all the Asian supermodels out there. She knew how to work it for the camera and her walk was in high demand by major fashion houses all over the world. I've gone through couple video clips of designers who have used her for their shows commented how Daul would bring a very edgy, bold presence to their show. I strongly agree with that (I wish I got to see her walk in real life *sigh*). Especially when she had the heavy bangs with straight locks it just screamed "fierce". Even with the new do she really rocked that cut. I remember discovering the first picture of Daul modeling and I thought "Who is this girl?" I remember that day looking her up on Elite (she eventually moved with Next Management) because she grabbed my attention. With my unfortunate luck I'm at the height of 5'4; I was always envious of her height and her long legs. And putting the physical appearance to the side when I began to read her blog, "I like to fork myself", I was able to get a glimpse of her personality. Her blog contained pictures of her life as a model, lots of comments and pictures from multiple fashion shows and other social events. In her posts you were able to tell this girl was fun, quirky, and very interesting. I especially loved the photos of her and Coco Rocha goofing around making different faces in each frames at their photo shoot (I believe it was for Vogue Korea). You were able to get a sense that she was still young.

On the other side, her blog also resonated her mood swings. Some posts were very depressing; by reading what she wrote it was clear she was suffering from depression. She mentioned a few times that she was depressed herself. These posts were interesting to read because most people wouldn't even consider thinking about whether she suffers from depression or not. Right away we think, 'oh she is 20 years old and she's a top model, she's successful therefore she must be happy because her life is complete'.
I thought it was cool of her to be so care-free and actually blog her true feelings down which was open for anyone to read. It felt a little strange reading her blog at first because I felt like I was invading her personal diary but she made it available for the public to read. I think that's why her fans are leaving so many comments and love on her blog, on her youtube videos and other online articles... Besides being a fabulous, famous model, she let it known to the people that at the end of the day she was just like any other human-being.

Inspired by Michael Jackson, Kermit the Frog, and Andy Warhol, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (also known as JC/DC) designed many of these oddly looking clothes for this Fall 2009. And yes, this is from his Ready-to-Wear collection. The only person on this planet who might be able to pull this off would be Bjork?

Cutest Ring Ev-vah!

I have been eyeing on this adorable ring the moment it came out. I can't wait to get my hands on it! They have another type of animal ring but the other one isn't as cute as this one. (U.O $34 US)
